CBI Scotland appoints Glenn Allison as Vice Chairman

The President of the CBI, Mr Martin Broughton, has appointed Mr Glenn Allison, Managing Director, Stewart Milne Group Ltd, and President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, to be the Vice Chairman of CBI Scotland when the current Vice Chairman, Linda Urquhart, becomes Chairman of CBI Scotland in September of this year. Mr Allison's term will run for two years.

The Chairman of CBI Scotland, Mr David Thorburn, today said,
"I am delighted with Glenn's appointment. He is very highly regarded in Scotland's business community and at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. The Council of CBI Scotland warmly welcomes Glenn into this new role in support of Linda Urquhart when she becomes Chairman in September of this year".

Glenn Allison added,
"I am very pleased to have been appointed Vice Chairman of CBI Scotland. I look forward very much to working with Linda Urquhart, the Council of CBI Scotland and the Director, Iain McMillan, when I take up my appointment in September of this year."
