Stewart Milne Group Marks 640 Years Of Loyalty

One of the UK’s leading independent housebuilding, construction and development companies, Stewart Milne Group, is celebrating a remarkable 640 years of employee service at its 2010 Loyalty Awards.

This Wednesday (15 December), the first of two ceremonies will recognise the contribution and commitment of 36 employees based in North East Scotland. A total of 21 individuals are set to receive awards for 10 years’ service, whilst 14 will mark 20 years’ employment. One member of the Timber Systems team, William Jamieson, will be celebrating 30 years with the company having started as a finishing joiner just five years after Stewart Milne Group was first established.

In January, a second ceremony will be held in Glasgow, for an additional 10 employees based in Central Scotland with eight receiving 10 year service awards and two people marking 20 years.

Commenting on the awards, Glenn Allison, Stewart Milne Group managing director, said:

The Loyalty Awards are an important feature within the Stewart Milne Group calendar, running for nearly 30 years.
